You’re not wrong.
are the dq1-3 ports any good
the screenshots don’t make a good impression
Picross S is very good. I’m proud of you.
Been wondering the same thing. I got stuck near the very end of DW2 as a kid on the NES, and I’ve been looking for a reason to rectify that. Despite loving how D&D/FF1 the class system was in 3, I barely got into it because 4 came out in the US almost immediately after and I jumped straight into that.
if you haven’t played much of 3 i’d definitely recommend looking at the super famicom remake, there’s a decent fan translation patch
it’s really gorgeous
You’re really gorgeous
Dragon Quest III is one of the best ones.
I completed a Pokédex for the first time ever by trading with @GherkinForce and a random person on Reddit.
I still feel empty inside.
has anyone played the final fantasy tactics ripoff on the eshop
That could describe a few games on the eshop.
Mercenary Saga Somethingorother, presumably
that’s the 1
I played one and a half battles of the 3DS version and it was terminally bland
I’m playing Valkyria Chronicles 4 right now on PC (I believe there is a Switch version) and the gameplay is really good. Story is 200% less compelling than 1 and the characters are 400% more anime soap opera bullshit. But, the gameplay is real good. And you can skip the story segments right after you initiate them.
The first one is also on Switch. I think 4 does more interesting things with map design. But the gameplay in 1 is still very good. And the story is a lot better than 4. Particularly the first half.
I played like 37 seconds of it and was like “yeah…this is a thing I respect” bu haven’t played since then. I think it’s gonna rule
great, congrats
now you get to play hard mode
(hard mode is literally just the two-player spawns but single player, it’s not that bad)
and learning Raiden! Raiden is the best.
Does that game play ok with the kinda crummy Switch dpad?
i have a Pro Controller and my answer is, yes, it plays “ok.” i definitely mess up inputs sometimes because of how mushy it is, and the game would probably play optimally with a joystick imo.
I would say so, seeing as it’s very much a 4-way game, but I’ve never played it on the default left joycon (either on the Pro Controller, my 8bitdo m30 or the Hori dpad joycon)
it also has a left-stick sensitivity adjust in the control options so that’s always an option (probably don’t do that)
