Played a P Switch mission where you are a UFO and you can abduct cows.
The P stands for PETA
Some of the P switch missions are more interesting than I expected! I did one where I got in a huge truck and just plowed down tons of cars and objects and stuff on my way to a goal, and I almost felt Katamari frission for a half second deep in my withered gamer heart.
here’s someone who knows what they’re talking about re:HDR
seems like the system support is there but they need to bring the dev pipeline up to snuff
I wanted a 512 and apparently the only ones who have that right now are this Walmart store brand that’s rebadged PNY?
arrived for free in less than 24h so wtg Walmart
when the hell are we racin anyway
I am ready.
(this is unrelated to anything and everything but I would commit crimes for vacation Daisy
god bless that look. makes me want to watch Blow Up)
should be today because I have to go to NYC tomorrow
I think you can re-download to any system that has a profile using that account. And you don’t need access to whatever switch currently has the virtual game card loaded. When you run a game you don’t have loaded it will give you the option to unload it from the other switch. So only one switch can have a game loaded at a time, but as long as no one is actively playing the game unloading/loading isn’t a problem.
We were using a Discord server for Splatoon back in the day: Splat Button. Although I believe the funnier option would be to hijack the server Broco created for Nightreign in the Elden Ring thread as @bib and I are both in it.
As someone who doesn’t care much about new games anyway, I’m really enjoying my switch 2! It’s like getting a new video card for your pc, so many of your current games just play better. Tempest 4000 felt so bad on the original switch I couldn’t stand it. Not sure exactly what the problem was, but it felt off. On switch 2 it actually feels good! More like TxK on vita.
Tempest 4000 was the first game I really noticed the 720p->1080p upscaling in handheld mode, but the softer image didn’t actually bother me much on this game. I also read that several original switch games would always render at 1080p, even in handheld mode. On the original this would result in downscaling but it is native res on switch 2. Project Egg games are supposedly like this, and The Scheme did seem really sharp to me.
i’m gonna try to be around for a bit starting somewhere 8/9pm est… friend code SW-5516-2201-1728… i think it’s easy to just join a room if someone you’re friends with is online and in one??
the audacity for this game to contain three discrete arrangements of the MK8 title screen music
the hubris to have a Steam Gardens cover, and it makes me angry that they managed to make it sound better than the original
more controller tomfoolery: the Mayflash Magic-NS (rev 1, last firmware update from last year) just works, so other Mayflash Switch adapters may work out of the box too
I met a notbov and picked up a Switch 2. I really hope you get some rest. Nobody should be on the clock 24 hours over a 48 hour stretch of time.
i’ve been generally unconvinced by freeroam but just now i time trialed a course a couple times and knew it pretty well and then decided to drive over there in free roam and suddenly it felt like some behind the curtain employees only sign hitman forbidden spaces shit
would it kill them to include a real map though. or at least a compass on the minimap ffs
the switch 2 feels more comfortable in my hands than the originals but the main issue for me is how thin the console still is which eventually cramps
