I know I have no stake in this, but I am still very curious who is running NGPX. Was E3 actually able to get their shit together for once in over a decade? Was this the backup plan for what to run when E3 finally went bust? Is it just Facebook?

I am still kinda hype about SMTV based on that trailer they put out and how strong its Nocturne vibe was. I am definitely setting myself up for some extreme disappointment. I recognize that.

is there any possibility this will get an english version? sting’s previous switch ports have been jp only right?
i doubt it. an english version would have been more likely if they were using the version that had already been localized, but this is a port of the OG Saturn version.

yeah, i know… a girl can dream… the one reason i hope is that the script is identical in the remake so it wouldn’t require additional retranslation, but i’d imagine it would still be fickle to implement (though possibly easier on the psx version of the original?)

did the psx or saturn originals get a translation of any kind?
well, atlus usa did the localization for the Baroque we got, so Sting or whoever is doing the localization, would need to work with them to get that stuff, making it even more unlikely vs a re-translation unless they still have their connection going on.
