there are definitely going to be repo men that show up five MINUTES after you miss your payment because every financed xbox comes free with a van full of men in white leather jackets who monitor your xbox activity constantly. they also judge what games youre playing, and make fun of you if the games you play are too gay

The whole repo system will be uberized and gamified so anyone with a Windows phone can download the Microsoft Repo app and start repoing their friends Xboxes to get Microsoft Rewards points that they can use towards paying on their current Xbox Plan or bank them to put them towards upgrading to the next Xbox tier when it’s available.

apparently they just give you a lil baby line of credit through citizens one, so missing payments will just lead to the mundane but hellish consequences of having a bad credit score, normal repo guys, no fun, bad for everyone, etc

I just used my Microsoft Rewards points to redeem the “Punch Through Walls” augment, installed by certified Microsoft technicians, so I can repo consoles better! Game on!!

too many options to figure out what I’d buy for gaming if I were looking to upgrade at the end of the year, which I might. a $500 3070 is a pretty decent deal since I have a capable PC to drop it into, but a $400 digital PS5 if that’s the price is only marginally less powerful at sub 4k resolutions, and everything I have is hooked up to a 1440p monitor. selling the card I already have would probably make the 3070 cheaper than a PS4, but the PS4 will have at least some exclusives I give a shit about, and I get a controller with it I guess. then a $300 xbox s thing is a meaningfully cheaper option that will probably get the job done at 1440p, and also gives me the game pass ultimate option for all the console and PC games + the cloud streaming thing, which I probably wouldn’t use, but hey, less money for more things…? and then AMD will probably come out with cards that sandwich the 3070? I should just wait a year
