I don’t think I realized CotM 2 was not the direct sequel to Ritual of the Night so both the retro throwback vibe of the game and the discussion ITT were confusing the hell out of me

That’s my favorite TMNT game even though I’ve never been able to beat it. Great music and a generally weird vibe.

the NES one or the Gameboy one? The NES one is hard as hell but really interesting for an early licensed game IMO.
The gameboy game is the first video game I ever completed I think, so uh it’s probably too easy to be worth playing these days

Oh right that was the really bad Platinum TMNT lol.
I bought that on PS4 when it came out. It came with a cool theme. Real shame about the game itself though.
edit-Okay I’m looking up the gameboy games and there was a GBA TMNT based off the 2003 show. Maybe two games? I might need to play all these TMNT games.
the game boy game was called ‘fall of the foot clan’ and i think was just based on the original cartoon show. i remember it having unusually cool graphics for a game boy game and otherwise being pretty unremarkable.
the third nes game was manhattan project, weirdly heady name for a ninja turtles game i guess. i had that one two but i don’t remember ever gettin much farther than the end of the first or second level. i sucked at that type of game and probably still do but i loved turtles so i still played it all the time.
imo the best ninja turtle game is turtles in time
