Those both look awesome. Maquette is the kind of original idea I’d like to see more of and Recompile looks like Tron-but-if-it-was-cooler.
Well Evo’s cancelled. The circumstances that lead to abuse need to be uprooted but damn, I’m worried about the impact this is gonna have on the FGC in the long term. Their events have really struggled with COVID.

i mean theoretical best case faithful, well-translated and functional port of the original across all platforms, but this is squeenix we’re talking about here, so it will probably replace the sprites with phone game icons, replace the music, put all the text in comic sans, and also the game runs at half its intended speed

Oh yeah, I was trying to be at least somewhat realistic. I do remember now however that because the ToM remake did happen and was translated that that was the reason they did an official translation of the SFC ROM that was included on the Mana collection since they just reused the script.
