I am waiting for Urien to be released before getting into the game but he’s gonna be the last one isn’t he
No waifu, no laifu.
Somebody made a nifty Q mod for this. Odd seeing Q with dictator moves but it sort of works
Ibuki trailer at 0:49 through 0:54. Look in the mountain.
Womp woooooomp.
They delay isn’t as surprising as capcom’s continuing use of the stoney silence until the last possible second communication strategy.
It’s definitely endearing. I can see why they want to maintain it.
That’s a fabulous time to release a new character relative to Evo, both early enough that they have to allow her and late enough that she’ll be largely unknown.
Unless Evo relaxes the rules she won’t be out in time

i did a tweet about rollback networking and sfv and it’s blowing up and what have i done
The best part was when they said the had a special announcement and people were like that’s just capcom speak for the regular monthly character release only it turned out the special part was actually a month long delay on that regular character release. Good stuff, boys
Ibuki bomb can hit OTG if opponent doesn’t quickrise.
2 hours of Ibuki footage
and a month before it matters. Dear lord Capcom get ur shit together.
Alternately, they could blame Capcom USA for saying anything at all. Back to that regularly scheduled stoney silence, I guess.
i mean, I’m sure there’s a whole ladder of people to put on the chopping block for this one. But SFV is the game that keeps not delivering. We’re still waiting on stuff that should of been there at launch, or being nice March.
That’s pretty nasty of Capcom Japan to do.
Essentially they said that the schedule information was released without them but they decided not to do anything about it, and still aren’t interested in releasing information before it’s ready to go out.
Which is kind of saying “Hey, we don’t care what happens overseas.” Who do you think is selling your damn games, Capcom?
this is super literal so pardon the phrasing
So guess what? Capcom Japan’s doubling down on the stonewalling.
They are going to kill this game.
I agree with that except for the use of the future tense.
If only Japan learned that being honest to your fans is a pretty good way to go. If stuff is taking longer than expected, just say that and your fans should be understanding. Way better than holding it in and then just disappointing everyone with radio silence, anyway.
Alternatively, maybe SFV did a lot worse than they thought so management greatly reduced the dev team and now they’re barely making ends meet and are just trying to hold the whole production together however they can.
