Tree stumps, rocks, and roots, too.

Pretty good discount on Steam right now, incidentally. (And PlayStation, for the base game.)

Looks like they recently added multiplayer to that Expeditions game, but only on PC so far. Console support is later this year. They’ve also been working on fixing the UI annoyances that people talked about on release.

I became more interested in that game when I learned that you get to explore caves. But with the seemingly endless supply of SnowRunner content I don’t know when I’ll pick it up. Maybe when the opportunity arises to play it co-op.

In other news, just today they added another Rezvani vehicle to SnowRunner as paid DLC. This one (the real life version) has EMP protection and is, of course, “tactical.” I like the other Rezvani vehicle in the game but I think I have enough scouts at this point.

Do they drop nukes in this game?

There is one map where your goal is to assemble and launch a rocket (Amur). But it’s by far the hardest map and I haven’t yet started it.

(I’m looking forward to the challenge, though, when I finally do.)

By the way, now that you’ve developed an intense interest in this game when are we going to play co-op?

I had planned to set the game aside for a while after finishing up Alaska and Wisconsin but instead I moved on to Scandinavia. It’s a beautiful area that’s half snowy instead of being mostly or entirely one way or the other.

I like the new scout vehicle I found there, though I don’t think it will join those that I use every time (Ford F-750, Khan Marshall, Tatarin, Rezvani Hercules).

I’ve also been trying the other Voron trucks but the AE remains my favorite of those.

Scandinavia is now at 100%. I’ve been listening to audiobooks while playing.

Some people who play this game take a screenshot of their fleet when they finish an area, and I decided to do this. I don’t think I will do it again, though. It took too long to set up, and I didn’t even arrange it very carefully.

Been snow runnin’ to some pretty good background music.

Also, have you mentioned the most killer feature yet?

Fireflies in Kazakhstan.

I’ve heard that the Yukon area has nice scenery but is a pain if you don’t do it multiplayer. Maybe that would be a good candidate for a SB SnowRunner night. (I’ve never looked at it, so it would be all new for me.)

Not only does Almaty Region have fireflies, it also has frogs. I’m nearly finished with the area and I’m just now noticing them. (I previously saw them hopping around in the periphery at times but they didn’t register, tiny as they are.)

Austria comes out any day now, and I hear it features castles.

100% in Almaty Region. I wasn’t sure about this area at first because it has quarries everywhere and quarries are often a pain. These quarries are no exception but each is unique and the area overall is another good one, if you like arduous adventures.

A couple video highlights I captured:

(This was near the end of the very last contract. Note the little yellow sign at the beginning and the end of the clip, which was the culprit.)
