Nice. Itās fun to see which songs totally work in symphonic form (Marble Gardens, Casino Nights), and what songs donāt (some of the ones that were originally full R&B like Starlight Zone sound pretty strange).

The legend is orchestras hate doing video game music because it is structurally easy and boring.
Listening to this I noticed they did a lot of little things in every arrangement which was definitely in response to those complaints.
Like I saw Gyakuten Saiban with an orchestra and yeah that music is A. Great B. Really simple and boring when expanded to 70 people.
I am just glad this had no audience so we didnāt get any hooting and howlering.

Iām glad Sega is taking good care of Sonic. The games slipping to 2022 is (only slightly) unfortunate but getting proper ports and widescreen etc. is better than Nintendo has ever done for Mario or anything else - the widescreen Super Mario World hack got me thinking.
