i felt the opposite! i thought generations was ok but kinda bland, after all the fun and imagination of colours. (though i’ve only played the ds version of colours)

i’d love to play a version of that of the Complete S3&K.

sonic colors was great from what i remember. really the best version of that modern sonic style imo
