It’s been exactly one year since the previous edition, and tonight (as of this writing, on 12/23/22) it’s FORT90 TV Presents: “A _____ CHRISTMAS!” (2022 edition)
It’s mostly rebroadcasts of nearly forgotten (or definitely unknown) Christmas specials, but I do have some FORT90 FILM CLUB-adjacent content, including…
I also have full-length movies, including a token holiday classic hate watch…
As well as a great little documentary about the sounds of Christmas…
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…

Tonight’s the first installment of the FORT90 FILM CLUB for the new year, which is the perfect time to look towards the future, via movies that show us things that may one day be our present day… if we’re not careful.
Starting things off it’s…
Next is another movie that I have been a VERY long time to finally unleash onto unsuspecting viewers…
Third is a film that I GUARANTEE will leave you saying to yourself “that’s the best movie I’ve seen all year!” (granted, we’re only two days into 2023, but still)…
And finally, if it isn’t already, Merriam-Webster needs to list the following as the official definition for “film that was way ahead of its time”…
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…

Two weeks later and the future is still fucked, tonight’s “FUTURE IMPERFECT” round 2. **And when it comes to dystopian future flicks, everyone’s seen Brazil & Robocop, but what about Dead End Drive-In?
And you’ve probably seen a few The Most Dangerous Game-like movies, but I’m willing to bet none have been as stylish as The 10th Victim…
And for me to play two The Most Dangerous Game-type movies in one night, you better believe Series 7: The Contenders is worth it (trust me, it is)…
Finally is a movie that, once again, defies any proper description, other than to say that aside from it fitting tonight’s theme, Stalker is yet another movie that is absolutely not for everyone, yet every single person needs to give it a shot…

BTW/FYI (also, happy Seollal for those who celebrate it)…
Tonight kicks off another month-long survey over at the Wonderville Twitch stream, and the best way to beat the winter heat is a bunch of movies in which one is at the mercy of the desert sun. First up is the first time I have featured any Neil Breen on my stream (and it’s about damn time, I know)…
Tonight is also another opportunity to showcase a movie that I’ve been a fan of since forever…
Third up is the obligator underground hit that only a select few have perhaps heard about, and even tho most have never actually seen it…
And lastly (for tonight at least) is a film so obscure that I’m frankly shocked that the trailer even exists on YouTube…
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…

Tonight I conclude my survey of obscure tales of sand & strangeness with some real bangers, including yet another criminally underseen cinema classic from Albert Pyun…
And the token “just fun, just balls to the walls, goofy fucking fun” entry of the evening would have to be…
And the token “what in the hell am I watching, this is legitimately insane” entry of the evening would have to be…
Last but not least is the fourth movie of the evening that will make you go “why don’t more people know about this movie?”
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…

… It’s not film related, but since this is first & foremost a video game message board, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the above!
Tonight is the start of a several month long survey of movies in which you stare at the abyss and the abyss stares back, cuz in this case it’s either your evil twin, another personality, disaffected clone, etc & wants to kill you.
And “PARALLEL HELL” (part 1), like the start of last month’s programming, will hit the ground running (IMHO) with another banger from Neil Breen…
And the second movie to involve twins siblings this evening is also the second motion picture by Spike Jonze, as well as an all-timer…
Third up is the long overdue appearance of Satoshi Kon on my stream, and there’s no better place to start then at the very beginning…
Last but not least is easily the film that has been seen the least, as well as easily the most challenging, along with the one I’m perhaps most excited to share…
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…

crossing my fingers for after last season
Tonight is the second half of my survey of movies that explore the not so better half, in form of an evil twin, another personality, disaffected clone, blah, blah, also two separate entities with the same name.
Hence “PARALLEL HELL” (part 2), which kicks off with the obligatory inclusion of…
Next is something that not only defies convention, but also challenges Twitch’s TOS…
Third up is every Kiyoshi Kurosawa/Koji Yakusho stan’s guilty pleasure, also a movie that is criminally underrated IMHO…
And finally I’m showing the one movie that more or less the entire theme for the past two months were built around, believe it or not…
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…

Tonight I’m kicking off a month long trek into some of the head trippiest territory ever made into motion pictures we’ve got Satoshi Kon’s final parting gift to the world…
For the next film I’m going to share a tweet instead of a YouTube link for reasons that are stated below…
Third up is Steven Soderbergh’s low-key best film, which also happens to be considered the “black sheep” on his filmography…
And the forth & final film is an-all time great, with a long ass list of accolades to its credit, including how it was a primary inspiration for Silent Hill (tho everyone reading this probably knows that already)…
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…

Alright, tonight’s part two of my focus on head trips, and instead of kicking things with Nightmare on Elm Street, it’s another movie about people being killed in their dreams a studio was making instead, hence why they passed on Freddy…
Next is basically THE movie for all the assholes who go “aLL aNiMe iS eXaCtLy aLiKe”…
Third up is the obligatory trippy drug movie for such a survey…
And finally is another “this ain’t for everyone” and is also a real challenge to watch, but trust me on this one…
Stream starts at the usual time, 8PM EST, and at the usual destination…
