So I'm Hosting A Movie, On Twitch, Like In A Few Hours

So, not showing any movies tonight, but given how this is a video game message board and all, I feel the need to mention that I have a lot of video game content on tap.

Some “salt of the earth” type of content…

As well as the “high falutin” variety…

There’s actually quite a bit of Pokemon content tonight…

… As usual, stream starts at 8PM EST, over at:

TONIGHT is yet another installment of my series of vehicular based movie screenings, with the focus this time being trucks, and am kicking things off with objectively one of Steven Spielberg’s finest films…

Like last time there will be a token Ozploitation offering, one that basically it was gunning for Hollywood. In the form of a remake of Hitchcock’s Rear Window, with ya know, trucks…

Third up will feature supportive evidence that the 70s was when the best movies were made…

And the final film is actually a feel-good flick, one that was so successful in Japan that they made 9 sequels in 4 years…

Stream starts at 8PM EST, over at the usual digs…

Tonight’s another FORT90 FILM CLUB-adjacent broadcast of FORT90 TV, and a VERY special one at that; for the past 13 years I have been on the hunt for what I consider the “Gone With The Wind” of underground NYC movies, which I will finally discuss publicly…

TONIGHT is yet another installment of my series of vehicular based movie screenings, and the focus was going to be on just buses, but… long story short… I wasn’t able to get a copy of the one Chinese ghost story, again involving buses, in time. So it’s half buses, half trains, starting things off a parody of 70s disaster flicks…

Then is either the best thing Michel Gondry has ever directed, or the worst, depending on who you talk to…

And then it’s back to buses; not gonna lie, I’ve also really wanted an excuse to finally play my fave Jim Jarmusch flick…

Finally, it’s something else that’s truly appropriate for all the late night film freaks, and something else I’ve been waiting ages to finally unleash…

TONIGHT is a special May 4th edition of the FORT90 FILM CLUB, for fellow lapsed fans of the franchise (see the FORT90 FILM CLUB presents: ""THE OBLIGATORY STAR WARS _______________" — WONDERVILLE)

The line-up includes EXP TV’s STAR WARS NOTHING BUT STAR WARS mixtape, which was a real hit last year, among the dozen or so who were around when I showed it around 3:30AM, along with Damon Packard’s THE UNTITLED STAR WARS MOCKUMENTARY, and also…

BTW/FYI, am also going to play…

If you missed it, it was basically like the first six Star Wars movies all at once that I played the previous year (which you can easily find online, but I also have a hard copy if you’d like one)

So it’s Monday and I’m not showing movies tonight, tho I am showing movie-adjacent content in the form of someone’s iPhone footage of the Bourne Stuntacular, which much like the one for Waterworld, blows away its inspiration out of the water; I basically have not been able to stop thinking of this tweet since first seeing it last week (no worries, I’ll be streaming footage that was shot in landscape)…

It’s another Monday filled with movies that center upon vehicular mayhem, as well as hijinks. This time the focus is on cars, and I of course am getting to kick things off with an off beat comedy from Japan that virtually no one in America knows about, by a director that’s equally obscure…

Next is a film that pretty much everyone knows about, cuz it contains what is widely regarded as the greatest car chase scene in all of cinema…

And cuz George Carlin has yet to make any appearances on any of my streams thus far, am going to course correct that with…

Finally, there’s no way in hell I’m going to stream a bunch of movies involving cars and not show…

Stream starts an hour later than usual, aka 9PM EST, tho the URL remains the same…

So once again, no FORT90 FILM CLUB but no FORT90 TV tonight, tho I’d be remiss if I didn’t state on a largely video game message board that among the many things on tap for tonight is…

Stream starts at the usual start time this time, aka 8PM EST, over at the usual digs…

So my series of vehicular themed screenings crosses the finish line later tonight, starting with one of my all time faves…

There’s also a pair of black & white flicks, which includes a de-colorized version of everyone’s fave installment of Mad Max…

Along with an excellent intro to Yasuzo Masumura for those who require it…

Finally there’s what many consider to be Quentin Tarantino’s worst, and yeah the first part is indeed a slog, but that car chase towards the end is legit AMAZING…

Tonight is another FORT90 TV broadcast from Wonderville that contains bonus FORT90 FILM CLUB content; was originally going to do a “best of”, but since it’s June and all…

BTW/FYI…

Tonight is an extra special FORT90 TV broadcast from (k, I say that literally each time, but stay with me here) cuz it’s a “best of” covering the year 2022 thus far. And cuz there’s so much to pull from, we’re talking about a EIGHT HOUR broadcast (tho longtime viewers will know that I’ve gone as long in the past, even longer).

But yeah, it’s all stuff that’s either been faves in the chat or just a fave in my book, including…
