update: ms. samantha arantes herself won an award for the ZZT community’s yearly awards thingy. unfortunately, there wasn’t any commentary or stream provided with the results (the organizer was having some personal issues), so i decided to make up for that with an acceptance speech:

ballpoint pens feel so good! all the marks are permanent, but you can apply it so soft on the paper that sketching is easy. you kinda need to force it to make things dark, and this results in kind of a scratchiness to drawing, but i like that <3
