I refuse to have both from games die in this bracket, cmon SB pick one and push it through, let’s be real here. probably the hardest vote on this one for me was rondo vs deus ex, but deus ex just reaches too far to not take it

FWIW I enjoyed the first two-thirds of Riven and bounced off the last third rather hard (to be fair the game crashed dozens of times on me which never helps), I think it is a game that once the magic breaks it is almost impossible to get it back. I also lost a couple hours due to what I would describe as a legit game design problem as opposed to a “Riven is odd and you have to live in it” reason I got to where you need to find five odd orbs across the map to solve a puzzle in order to proceed and one is stuck off to the side in its own screen that you’d only find by randomly clicking on an unhighlighted part of a random screen and once I broke and looked that up I just looked up answers whenever I got even the slightest bit stuck as I lost faith that the game wasn’t going to fail in this area again. I’m sure I stated this before in an earlier round but I firmly believe that it is a game remembered better than the experience of playing it actually is as the places where it falls short get chalked up as it being unique as opposed to at times being uneven or just straight falling short.
Of course I am also unconvinced that once you remove the historical significance from Mario 64 that it is anything more that “good, maybe even pretty good” so vote for whichever.
I look at the results of not just this round but the last one and want to weep, but at least Killer 7 is taking a beating and I will take solace in that and try to ignore… almost every other vote.

This experience continues to show we have Two Sides to any Two Games.
Would love for someone to host this again this fall with none of these games on it. That would be cool. The 2nd Selectbutton 64 (85) Games.

Manhole is kind of just a clicky non-game interactive toy right? I tried it out as an adult and quickly got bored.
