So, the FFV Four Job Fiesta is a long-standing internet thing. Basically, FFV’s main thing is that it has a job system, and they’re unlocked by beating bosses and reaching an elemental crystal. The classic Four Job Fiesta is basically using RNG to select which job you get from each Crystal, then having your party members use those jobs, one character per job, and try and beat the game. I recommend just doing a Regular run with all the options on default unless you know what you’re doing.
This randomness can make the game very easy. This can make the game very hard. It’s very dumb, and if I get one more person than myself to participate I will consider this to be a success. I tried to do this back in like 2014? Something like that, I had a pretty decent job selection and then still got stuck later in the game on the bridge. I think it was a bridge.
If you want to participate, use the link above for the Off Season Run to generate your four jobs, then play the game, any version of it, there’s Super Famicom, GBA, PSX, the Pixel Remastered versions, whatever. Post here about your progress. Try and beat the game by the end of summer.
Oh yeah, check out the Help page for the Four Job Fiesta. The Example block should give you an idea how things will work, and it breaks down all the crazy options for people who have done this a lot and want to make their lives considerably more difficult.

In theory, you can beat the game with a single character with the worst job, so “everything is viable”.
That said, from what I remember/understand, Knight is a solid first crystal job, Red Mage is kind of weak yet versatile, Bard is ridiculously OP, and Samurai is really good, so I think you should be fine.
Red Mage gets !Dualcast (at 999AP but if you have one for the whole game you’ll hit that relatively early) which is hella sweet, though maybe a bit less impressive when you can’t equip it to your Time Mage and Haste half your party in one turn, or cast two Meteors in a row

I actually just started a run yesterday in the pixel remaster version, so good timing! it’s not the off season or whatever though, the real four job fiesta is currently ongoing. I’ve only played through FFV once, and it was many many years ago. I just did the fire crystal and my jobs right now are blue mage, mystic knight, and beastmaster. I’m pretty sure this is quite good since blue mage is excellent, beastmaster has synergy with it, and mystic knight can soak up heavy armor and hit elemental weaknesses.
I rolled thief and chemist in the one fiesta I completed. Thief can steal ingredients for chemist to use, so he’s even more broken than usual. I steamrolled the late game
