i wish i was voting for illbleed or sh3 instead but… sh2 is great and i love it. it’s real nasty as horror should be. maybe a bit too classy cause it attracts a type of praise that’s tiring to hear forever.
anyway, nights is cool, but if you’ve read my previous posts you know where i stand on horror. you know this is a zero consideration required choice for me. one of only two this round.
i started playing cave story again due to these polls. i made it to hell and the final rounds of the true final boss. i haven’t finished it yet, that gauntlet is hard. i’ve yet to see an ending. i find it a lot more charming than i used to, and i’ve accidentally stumbled on little secrets that have made it grow on me even more.
it can’t really stand against third strike for me tho. 3s is a mess, but whatever low level i’m playing it at it feels amazing to move and attack. the soundtrack and character designs are peak for the franchise, and tbh that matters more than it maybe should for me. it might be i play fighting games for mostly aesthetic reasons.
As someone who joined the forum in the middle of this whole thing, this is so fucking funny you guys. If this series of polls produced nothing else except this particular bracket configuration it still would’ve all been worth it.
Gonna have to meditate in a cave over Gameboy Camera versus Ikaruga.
I will say in every thread ALL THESE GAMES ARE WINNERS THEY ALL WON (vaguely ruled popularity contests.) don’t vote for Nintendo.
Nights v Silent Hill 2 is tough. I’ve played SH2 to completion so many times and yet I still do not understand Nights even if a twitterdachi has a dang article explaining how to NiGHTS.
