I believe I’ve alluded to this before but the Steam new release list is odd in that the same games can pop up on multiple different days, mostly because they will randomly list “coming soon” games but also because of the confusion early access provides. I mention this today because for a new release Bless Online has 2,542 user reviews already which… stands out compared to the collection of no and few user reviews I see almost every other time I check one of these games.
Also I never even heard of Bless Online but apparently it is a thing?
I forget if I mentioned NALOGI before, but it is an oddity in that it is a Russian-made anime girl rpg.
I can’t tell if it is critical of things in Russia or supportive of them, but it is a bit different than the typical russian fare. At the very least they do clearly have RPGMaker there.
Vignette story telling
Very realistic simulations of awkward situations
Interactive panic attacks
Laugh-y bits
Cry-y bits
pretty ok original photography
For what it is worth that game seems to have found at least a tiny bit of an audience, checking back it is up to 33 user reviews (96% positive) in less than a week. For the games I generally click on that is rather successful.
Redemption Cemetery: Grave Testimony
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God
The Wilting Amaranth
Achievement Lurker: You are going to have to work hard for these nuts
Beyond an uptick in porn games (a perhaps sizable uptick) I don’t think this is really gonna change much. There are a lot of… questionable titles released daily already that I mainly don’t mention unless they are so over the top or hilarious seeming.
The Unintended Consequences of Curiosity
Tech Support: Error Unknown
Mermaid Mission: Titanic
Motorcycle, tricycle, ATV hill racing
Trash Story: Gas Canister Donation for the developer
