the women in the party only gently chastise you for going to the hostess club in yakuza 7 so i guess i’m not surprised. it was a lot funnier and less creepy when you were like watching kiryu watch boobies stone faced on a monitor though

Also I used to see ads on like gamecopyworld in 2007 along with the usual “bonzi buddy but a porn actress” stuff that were like POV GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE DAILY LIFE WITH HOT GIRLS and it literally was the same exact shit. Its the wrong kind of nostalgia…an ancient gross feeling. They will be extracting serious value from the western coomer market

i have not played a yakuza but my initial reaction was confusion because my impression from hearing about and seeing kiryu is that he’s that kinda dude who only truely feels alive when he’s making sacrifices/fighting to help someone (see also: goku, sonic, jesus) so i was seeing those fmv segments through his eyes and sat there, just as stone faced, wondering why these women were trying to fix my damaged soul
they already made a yakuza game for perverts its the one with the Majima Everywhere System

The stuff in Zero was hilariously tame Gravure Idol stuff and I am sure this will be the same.
I mean 90% of Gravure is Big Titty Girlfriend looks at you thoughtfully.

right but she wasnt looking at me before, im not concerned about the level of nudity or whatever, like she can show her asshole for all i care, its the fact she was looking at kiryu or whoever iw as playing… it ruins the humor/appeal of the scenes for the player avatar to be removed from it completely

It kinda throws a spanner in the works for my attempts to convince my friends that Yakuza games aren’t kusoge for perverts
I find it pretty funny though how the first half of the trailer is showing the hard-boiled grim crime drama full of stoic manly men fighting for honour, then it gets to the gameplay and its all “spend some time in the pool with real life porn stars”
