Rare Replay I think for things like Blast Corps and Jet Force Gemini
The Legend of Zelda: Collectorās Edition for Gamecube emulates Ocarina of Time and Majoraās Mask.
Iām in the mood to play a game with a good French dub. Any suggestions?
The original v/o for Clair Obscur is French, and itās quite good. I hear the FF7 remakes have good French dubs.
Absolutely, YES and YES.
What i also can recommend is Remember Me (2013iirc?) that offers french dub, english sub options, but some goons in battles are not translated, there youāll start to train your brain to pick up some words (if you never spoke french before).
Aside from that, check every recent game if it offers french language pack and just listen if you like the pretty faces fitting ze french dub⦠FF16 didnāt click with me, for example.
is there anything similar to mount & blade on switch?
is it portability thatās the issue here? genuinely think the only thing close is battle brothers but thatās a turn based tactics game. and I cannot imagine the ui is good on switch. you could run m&b warband on any computer though I think
yeah! i already have warband on ps4, but i want it (or a substitute) on a handheld
have you by any chance tried putting mount & blade on your retroid flip 2 and running it with gamehub/gamenative/winlator/whatever? compatibility can be hit and miss, but perhaps worth trying, even for a 3d game from 2008.
also looks like warband got an official android port, but donāt know if that would be compatible with current versions of android or the retroid game controller thingy.
i havenāt! my previous attempts at emulating pc games on there havenāt gone well, but i could give it another try.
and i might try looking up that android port too ![]()
I want to learn mahjong so I can read the manga Akagi: The Genius Who Descended into Darkness by the guy who wrote Kaiji. Whatās the fastest way to learn mahjong, or more importantly, whatās the funnest way to learn mahjong?
learn it the way I did, by playing a random sfc mahjong game once a month for ~5 minutes as part of salaryman corner, the hit segment of the hit podcast snex
That podcast was so goodā¦
The tutorial in Clubhouse Games on Switch is pretty good.
tulpas is the most fun but thereās also ffxiv or nikki
I got a mah jong table in nikki I can slap down in the sea of stars and challenge other stylists with, and thereās a vs computer and vs player permanent mah jong game in one of the areas
and ffxiv has it in the gold saucer
I learned from Yakuza but also my partner used to play so could explain some shit
unironically grab one of the horny F2P phone jong clients and get sharked for multiple tens of hours
i know selectbutton once did a podcast on the topic, but iām still curious wherefore the intense interest in dungeons in fantasy. i can see the appeal of other common locales: villages, castles, forests, even natural caves, but not so much a blocky, dim underground prison.
The term is from D&D, but likeā¦ā¦ Iād say 80% of the dungeons in D&D arenāt even actual dungeons. Theyāre just maze-like spaces. Maybe a tenth of them are towers.
