i usually blaze through these things but p5 still took like 90 hours
Yeah, there is quite a bit to enjoy, so maybe just play royal until you arenāt having fun.
I could see an argument playing the shorter version was the better experience but the idea of playing both is nuts to me.
even as someone who played and enjoyed p5, i couldnāt get very far in Royal becauseā¦itās the same game lol
(with more stuff). so yeah, i have no idea why anyone would ever recommend playing both beyond just being obsessed, i guess
Gamers are fucking insane basically
If you want to play Persona 5, first you must create the universe.
play nocturne
Are you sure they werenāt talking about Strikers which actually is a sequel of sorts to P5?
Actually this was related to Strikers, somewhat, in that Iāve seen more than one person say āStrikers ignores Royal and follows the base game, which you should play as well to get a better feel for it.ā
I think I finally feel what people must feel when I tell them, look, you can skip AC1, but you should play the three AC2 games (Revelations is important for the denouement of both Ezio and Altairās stories), but from there y-
Royal contains the whole base game though? I guess you miss out on Morgana forcing you to go to sleep a few more times in Vanilla
This is like playing Super Mario Bros on the Famicom before playing it on the NES. If it took 100 hours each time
People sure do love to not value their time.
Play what is rewarding (interesting, entertaining, calming, whatever), quit when it isnāt.
or people love assigning value to the exact thing they did
when thumper came out people kept comparing the music to something. something drums? or something like what. iām trying to track it down because i dig the soundtrack
You probably already knew this; the obvious answer is Lightning Bolt, because Thumper was made by (in part) the bassist.
ETA: Gibson, the bassist, dammit.

Canāt remember if this was NES or GameBoy, but I remember a fishing game that involved moving your boat around a little lake; I remember the lake had areas with, like, lots of plants in the shallows and this ādeepā area with that was like two square tiles of darker blue than the rest of the lake, and I wasnāt sure if that meant I should park my boat in those squares before casting, or if I should be next to the tiles and cast towards them, or what. Anybody know what game this could have been?
Legend of the river king ?
Edit: more likely Legend of the river king 2 actually
Entirely possible? Iāll see if I can confirm after Iām home.
Does anyone think it could be fun to watch two people play A Way Out in like a small group movie night kind of setting? I heard that game was entertaining, for many reasons, but Iām counting on some silly and awkward drama and digital games shenanigans. We might play that co-op survival horror game Obscure if not. Previous hits with this group were Until Dawn and Devotion.
yeah, i think so. if you are going into it ready for a silly time, you can definitely get that from it.
