I thought it was Zard
i thought it was zurd, like third but more xtreme
The X is an alveolar lateral click like in Nguni languages.

current fighting games are also generally very very good, with the arguable exception of soul calibur (and itâs not even much of an exception at this point), street fighter, and KoF, most of these franchises are the best theyâve every been, regardless of whether youâre counting dbfz as more of an arcsys game or more of a marvel game. Tekken / Mortal Kombat / Smash are all very accessible, balanced, and fun right now, you canât really go wrong.
I read this, didnât get it, left, then got it and came back.
I know the answer is no because Source Engine_*
Does G-String support controllers?
_*- CS:Go controller support has been broken for almost 10 years at this point and valve has continually said âlol coming soon.â
Controller Companion works pretty well for FPSes that donât support controllers, FYI
Steam page says partial support which typically means limited support in menus.
Orange Box games have had controller support since launch IIRC, so a HL2 total conversion should as well
Is it just stock Orange Box controller support or heavily modified (such as Titanfall,)? Because one of those feels good on a controller (TF), while the other feels like âeh, I guess if we are putting this on consoles, it should accept controller inputs, sortaâ.
And obviously nothing against the developer on G-String on this. I canât really think modifying the engine for controller play was high on their list of goals; it would play a role in my decision how to play the game though.
I might start with Dragonball FighterZ as appetizer and wait for the new guilty gear!
As to Street fighter, whatâs the best one today? 3? 5?
5 is the current game thatâs played online and has similar expectations to other current games but itâs pretty overproduced and widely disliked.
3 is great if youâve never played 3, just a wild time, totally unlike anything else, super turbo is probably still the most representative âstreet fighterâ experience you could have, 4 was OK but never that appealing imo.
basically if you want to play street fighter or KoF you should install fightcade
super turbo is the best one
imo itâs kind of hard to find a popular consensus on SF games since different players tend to have widely divergent opinions on them. like i adore 3rd strike and will play it anytime but the FGC moved on from it for some pretty valid reasons! i find SF4 completely unenjoyable but i also know a ton of really smart people who prefer it over V & 3s
i guess iâd have to answer it similarly to Felix: do you want a game with a lot of people playing it online? youâre playing SFV, and iâm very sorry. do you want something thatâs flashy & stylish? 3s or alpha 3 (tho 3s wins on that category for me, personally.) do you get your Sick Thrills from nailing extremely fussy combo links and want to know what a focus cancel is? USF4. do you want to play something anybody can pick up in 5 minutes but will probably never approach mastery? super turbo
iâd strongly suggest seeing if you can badger a friend or two into getting into these things with you
back when i was rinsing Seriously and my flatmate was one of the best urienâs in europe we actually had the most fun when we were flailing around trying to learn vf5 or fucking around in weird/gorgeous/flawed-yet-interesting stuff like second impact instead of grinding for tournaments on whatever boring shite people were playing at the time
also play breakers revenge
whatâs the street fighter 1 scene like these days
Iâm very close to perfecting my velocity sensitive Rock Band drum input mod but itâs thankless work
i will be contrarian and say that the second ones are always strong
Street Fighter II
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
How the fuck did I not think of doing a Street Fighter 1 tournament fuck
