This wasn’t what I previously encountered, but it might serve the same purpose, so thank you! Gonna listen tonight!!
I have a question! Does anybody know the differences between Killer Queen (that I could get on the PS4) and Killer Queen Black (Switch, PC)?
there was never a PS4 release – killer queen black is the only “home” release of what was originally a touring arcade game
Oh, okay. Bummer, I have two ps4 controllers but only one on the Switch.
The PC version is crossplay and you can PS4 controller it up there no problem. Also I think joycons work on the switch, but idk for sure.
Oh that’s true. I did not think about using the two joycons.
Are there some other really good local multiplayer action games? Or also side scrolling games? Streets of rage 4, maybe? How is Double Dragon Neon?
streets of rage 4 is excellent
I dimly, but distinctly, remember playing a free game (probably between 08-12?) about a minotaur mining gold and getting around with a grappling hook. Does anyone recognize this? Did I imagine it?
Has anyone here played Albion Online? My friends and I were supposed to have a game night last night, and while we were waiting for the full group, we ended up chatting about “dumb action RPGs to play”. Then I ended up playing this game for like 5 hours :-0. I am pretty sure I’m susceptible to the F2P MMO addiction loop, but I genuinely thought it was engaging for a few reasons:
- MOBA style combat
- Longterm “sandbox” progression
- Engaging PvE loop (so far)
Anyways — have any of you played it? Or have any of you sunk into these kinds of worlds with other games? I’m kinda interested in giving this a shot. Worst case scenario me and my friends play this in the background while we chat, but I mean also… this shit has been around long enough. There’s gotta be a good one, right?
What are some RPGMaker games folks would recommend?
I did some homework some time ago and I collected the following titles (I still have to play them):
Ghost Suburb II: From Beyond Sleep Into The Eyes of Madness
Middens
Gingiva
Neftelia
Neftelia 2
LCD DEM
Miserere
Space Funeral
I have also played Ib and OFF, they are okay, but I cannot say that they added anything to me. I respect them more than I really like them. I mean, they are nice efforts, but a must play is another thing.
does anyone here know if Sega Genesis Model 2 cables (like the AC adapter, RF, etc) work with the Model 1? something tells me they don’t?
both video and power connectors are different between model 1 and 2/3 md/genesis systems
Is there some way to get Retroarch to recognize a controller that’s turned on/connected after Retroarch has booted so I don’t have to create a savestate and then close and restart the goddamn emulator every fucking time my controller turns itself off? Holy shit, I am tired of doing that.
it reconnects by default for me (just tested it out to make sure). i do remember this problem tho, maybe its something that got fixed with an update at some point.
Dang, I suppose it could be Yet Another Problem related to the SN30Pro+ itself, which doesn’t surprise me. This thing is the most finnicky controller I’ve ever dealt with.
Have you updated the firmware on the controller? If you have, I’d suggest trying to contact 8bitdo to try and get them to replace it.
I’m trying to find an old (well at least 5-6 years old) indie game, idk if it was Flash or not, but basically the protagonist has uncontrollable and seemingly infinite shits and it propels him into the air and most of the game you’re fecal-flying through the sky with some mystical talking animal buddy and Obama tries to take you down with a helicopter and in the end you face off against your nemesis who has a similar super power but they’re peeing instead of pooping and you’re both blasting each other over the Earth in outer space.
Anyone know about this?
I think it was titled “saints row”
There was an android game that was, IIRC, mostly about smashing oranges that were about to go moldy to get a high score, and if any oranges went moldy you lost. But there was a bunch of complexity, in that monsters would appear and make the oranges go moldy faster and they had different attack patterns. Also, every orange you smashed would go to a secondary mode where you just like, squished them to make a counter go up. I think you could buy little widgets with your score?
Pretty sure it was a japanese game poorly translated to English. I can’t find the damn thing at all, and the developer had made a bunch of neat little games.
Does anyone know what the hell I;m talking about? Alternately, does anyone know an archive of ancient Android games that are no longer on the play store?
