Iām gonna give Growlanser 2 a try
Thanks guys! I might start with Rhythm Heaven for the GBA⦠Or how is the one for the DS? I could emulate that one more easily on my phone. Similarly good?
Understanding how songs fill out the beats will be also very useful for me.
Btw, is there a specific website providing click tracks?
I wouldnāt trust emulation for a rhythm game if Iām trying to learn rhythm!
Who is in charge of the selectbutton.net steam recommendation group and EAT SHIT DISCORD I will type selectbutton.net again. fucker.
who is in charge of the recommendation group and can we get recent games like ZeroRanger and games that are not ZeroRanger on there?
I use Audacity to record and it has a click track function which allows you to adjust the BPM. Most recording programs like Audacity should have one.
Hereās a youtube video
If you know the BPM you want to play with, just look up the video for it.
I got Growlanser 2 running via PCSX2 emulation. I played half of the intro fight and then tried to save in the middle of it and it froze.
Iāll try some more later.
I like the graphics a lot. Looks like a PSone game in a very good way.
And the free roaming battle system with no grid and active asynchronous time bars instead of distinct turns, seems like it will be very cool.
The best thing ever for my rhythm was just being in marching band in high school. Peer pressure can be useful sometimes.
I would recommend turning the voices off immediately in Growlanser 2, if you havenāt already. That is the gameās one major weak point.
Can someone redirect me to that thread where folks were making their own criterion covers for games?
Update: NVM, I found it

thereās an awesome how to drum tutorial in the gba version, metronome included!
did you know that if you use airbnb.com.au instead of airbnb.com, switch the price back to USD from AUD, and search wherever as normal, it only shows fee-inclusive pricing and as such also allows filtering by this fee-inclusive per-day pricing?
I feel like I just recently saw previews for an indie RPG with the hex-based battle system of old Heroes of Might and Magic. Did Iā¦actually see that? And if so what is it?
Is Kotaku finally circling the drain? The site visually looks like itās in its death throes and thereās been less Tim content lately.
itās no doubt a result of the deadspin shakedown, I think the remaining GMG folks are getting antsy
dear music ppl what is the name for these kindsa synths and what should i use to make them
I am trying to set up my PC as a music server for my Macbook, on the same network. Anyone have suggestions on how to do this? Basically, Iād like to just use it as a network drive then run, like, fucking Foobar or something on the Macbook to read the songs. Nothing fancy.
But also doing anything on a Mac seems to be incomprehensibly bizarre, so I have no idea how to even do this.
I tried using Kodi on both as some sort of music streaming thing but hoo boy that thing was fucked to hell. Messed up my mouse position in other windows, played some songs at 1.25 times their regular speed, and wouldnāt let me pick the first song on an album for some reason!! Wow.
Anyway
I just want to use my PC as a music Hard Drive for my Macbook, essentially. Thatās all.
if you literally just want a filesystem share, just turn on sharing for that directory in windows and mount it on the mac over SMB by pressing cmd+k in the finder
mount it as smb://windows-computer-name (smb is the windows fileshare protocol)
(in general everything is achievable on a Mac more intuitively and consistently than on Windows but your options there are the Linux way and the Expensive way so it doesnāt lend itself to download-this-thing-and-fuss-with-it which is what most Windows users are used to)
Thank you I think this worked.
I guess I could have google this but I was too far into
I do believe that everything is achievable on a Mac, but it also feels like fighting against a passive aggressive mother who tries to thwart you at every turn with guilt.
āAre you sure you want to do that? You could get hurt. What would your friends think? Youāre killing me with worry.ā
So you have to know the secret cheat code to slip out the back door and just start messing around without mother knowing. I hate it. Just let me accidentally format my hard drive and lose everything I hold dear, okay??? All I want to do is install a game that is actually a virus and mines bitcoin on my GPU for 3 months before setting my whole computer on fire, Mom!!
