decent indiecade jury prize winner!
how’s ntfs read/write on linux these days
fine, it can bottleneck on like a router over USB but no data integrity issues
Any strong arguments for or against the letterboxing in The Evil Within? I’m for meeting art in ways it wants to be presented, but I think letterboxing is kind of obnoxious. But maybe they’re cool in some ways?
Evil Within is decent, but maybe not good enough to pull a trick like that
that said you’ll likely grow accustomed to it quickly
Is the Evil Within 2 any better?
much better. it’s one my favorite recent-ish games
Wonderful, so I guess I can play it without having played the first one?
There’s a pretty good callback in 2 that is well executed but other than that they’re pretty different. I felt that both were a bit long and squandered their world (in which almost anything can exist).
They’re very different games but Evil Within 2 functions as a fantastic sequel and reflection on Evil Within 1. I had played EW1 already so I don’t know what the experience of EW2 is like without it, but if you don’t like EW1 there’s no need to beat yourself over the head with it while EW2 is so different you may still like it instead.
I’m getting an ipad for drawing and best buy will give me $30 for my old ipad 3 that’s slow as absolute fuck. But before I get rid of it I just want to ask - are there any 32-bit only ios apps that are worth preserving access to?

(I still use an iPad 2 with duet)
the bizarre ios version of shin megami tensei
The retina ipad/ipad 3 is the slowest ipad by far, it’s not nearly powerful enough to smoothly drive that screen and ios 9 was the final nail in its coffin
oh right, I remember that
$30? i mean just use it is a music player/stream-controller or digital picture frame or the worlds most advanced lightbox or give it to a child
It’s literally so slow that it can’t play a youtube video after a factory reset. $30 is much better than paying to dispose of the battery.
Maybe the Cave iOS ports
Looks like they ported them all to 64-bit, I have dodonpachi on my phone right now
