There’s a neverending stream of what I assume are RPG Maker games on Steam. I am wary of their quality.

Are there any other games like this? Like top down, 2d, wide open spaces, “destroy them all”? Preferably with better hitstop, screen shake, & other action game fundamentals…?

Dragon’s Trap is very lovingly done but the hard mode is kind of unfair and I burned out on it and I’m sad because I don’t want to play the new one at all now
