I have this youtube video I just googled.
Is Just Cause 4 worth playing, now that it’s apparently had a lot of patches? I get the impression that I should just skip it entirely, but I wouldn’t mind getting it at a discount if it’s basically just more content for JC3 and not actually a worse game.
I’m interested in the answer to that as well, I loved JC3 but 4 seemed like nobody wanted it
Steam reviews suggest no though
I played Just Cause 4 on game pass. I liked it but it’s a bit different from 3. I played it more like a straight shooter for the main story but all the destructibility options are still there.
It’s got a whole weather modification angle to it as well. By the end of it you’ll be able to create storms and tornados and control their paths. It’s a neat hook. They also added inflatable balloons you can attach to objects in addition to the attachable jets.
do they still have the thing where you have to do awful minigames to unlock useful stats?
i almost liked just cause three, but then i had to fly through hoops in a wingsuit to unlock shit i actually needed and wanted to interact with, so i quit
but flying through the hoops had such good physics
re: game pass is any of the stuff on the pc any good while it’s £1
forza horizon 4 is fantastic if you haven’t played it yet, new torment is on there though I’m the only one who likes it
ive already played pilotwings
it was actually a good modern pilotwings though!
good enough to make me quit immediately!
Not that I recall. Though the wing suit challenges were the best part of JC3 so I don’t know what to tell you.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH EVERYONE
okay i was going on and on about how maybe im talking about a different game but no we’re talking about the same game
i guess i just wanted like, an open world game where i would attach explosives to objects in weird ways and watch the physics, but then i had to do analog stick dexterity in a way i didnt want to
four is sounding more like what i wanted
that studio does such pretty explosions
the explosives were good too
What’s the best site for searching apartment listings these days? Everything seems heavy on lead-gen marketing tendrils.
Did anyone ever crack the consumer review angle on housing? Last time I talked to Industry People they said it was a libel nightmare.
I’m going to be in Texas, so stuff like padmapper/craigslist isn’t as helpful as it is in ~cosmopolitan~ cities.
Just Cause 4 is OK. I kinda burned out on it after ten hours or so, kinda like I did 3 and 2 before it.
It’s fun to tie a bunch of balloon tethers to a tugboat, with some rocket tethers on the back, and just fly off into the sky.
(I think the game’s main weakness is that they offer you a lot of wild shit to do with the different types of tethers, but Rico is still a glass cannon, so he usually winds up eating shit while setting up some elaborate rope death device. At least one of the recent patches finally gives you enough ammo for most of your guns, and you’re not running around trying to whip people with your grappling hook as often.)
(Also the wingsuit is still great. The new map isn’t as nice looking as the Mediterranean islands from 3, but it’s still a very relaxing way to traverse the map, until some SAM missile knocks you out of the sky.)
(Oh and also the grenades that just summon lightning to zap things, including you, with abandon, those are good, too.)
The messenger, wolf2, momodora, shenmue
Stuff I would want to try: hellblade, blazing chrome, into the breach, sunset overdrive
I am tired of squares. What is the best way to get SNES games to look warm and fuzzy like they were on an oversaturated cathode ray tube box thing? I got this far, but I’m a dullard who hasn’t upgraded from ZSNES for two decades, so I’m sure there are ways to juice this even more
Prey
Momodara IV: Reverie Under Night
Hollow Knight
Wastland 2 aint bad
Valkyria Chronicles if you never played it from some reason
Abzu
The Turing Test
Some peopl really love the Banner Sagas and two of them are on there
Metro Exodus is like 1 month old. I dunno if its good. But is a very high profile release.
ditch zsnes for retroarch
