Anyone know how games get paid for from being offered as a free PSN game for PS Plus subscribers?
Context: I don’t want to give Quantic Dream or David Cage a fucking dime for their bullshit, but the idea of hate-playing a few minutes of Detroit might sound appealing to me some day.
Oh, also, I didn’t actually play it at all for some reason, but I was at my cousin’s house and he showed me the Commodore 64 his family was borrowing or something (they didn’t have it long?) and that he had made his own levels in Wizard.
I didn’t ever use it. I never played a second of Wizard. But it blew my fucking mind and changed my stupid life.

Given that Sony already paid Quantic Dream for the game, I am willing to bet QD isn’t getting much money for it being on Plus.
Oh, yeah, I forgot Sony straight bankrolled that shit.
I’m assuming it’s a lump-sum and they don’t hand out extra payments, like, per player who actually links it to their account, then.
So I can probably put it in my library without worrying about being much of an enabler.
Yep, it should be all flat-rate contracts negotiated ahead-of-time over lifetime sales and the like.
