Sounds about right. I mean that also explains Cave’s Black Label games.
I just searched the J-internet and found someone asking this same question about Momoko so I am happy and content.
I don’t know about alcohol but isn’t 120 proof alcohol 60%?
“Burning” and “120%” are both concepts based around acting with so much enthusiasm, you exceed your actual limit. I wouldn’t be surprised if cultural currents are the reason it’s that instead of 110%. Some countries go one way and some go another.
If you want to get deep into the number itself:
Know it has been asked before but are the Oracle games worth playing in 2016?
Ages is good, Seasons is kind of annoying because of the terrain shuffling
is there a place to go for in-game art assets besides Spriter’s (+Textures+Models) Resource and sister site Sprites Database? Specifically the kind of place where I can find things like the scandalously lazy story art from Street Fighter V.
Or does everybody just post that stuff on Tumblr without bothering to rehost it elsewhere?
not really
also TSR is ran by idiots
Yo is Deadly Premonition (360 original) one of those games for which one should straight up just concede to Easy Mode?
Yes
Bear in mind I havent tried it on Normal or Hard and found it too difficult but I know the game is an exercise in jank and patience, so that was the concession I refer to. Still holds true?
Yes. Also, do that mission that gives you the unlimited ammo gun or w/e
Right, there’s an SMG if I recall. Is that signposted enough that I should catch it or should I Gamefaqs it up ahead of time to avoid that potential pitfall completely?
I think you’ll have to look it up because I do not remember
Thanks a million, Ronny!!
Hasbro is the worst.
I’m pretty sure the Director’s cut of Deadly Premonition is the easy mode from the vanilla version, so Swery probably prefers you to play it on easy.
These are the things I would want to know, going in:
- You don’t have to make every deadline the same day. I thought I had to, and I barely did any of the side activities until the very end of the game. The same time the next day works fine in most or all cases.
- Do the quest with the “Nameless Flower” in the rain and the sheriff’s house at night as early as you can, to get a very important ability (fast travel).
- As soon as one of the bones becomes available, collect all 7 before starting Forrest Kaysen’s quest (something about Willie the dog). This gets you a very helpful weapon (infinite magnum). Don’t turn the bones in at the graveyard until you have done this.
those could almost double as undertale protips
Hmm, possible, but I think it’s more likely that they all drew on the same ancient stories of heroes slaying other heroes and grabbing their gear as loot (e.g. Iliad), and of explorers finding hidden treasure.
(Star Wars gets all the credit for modern pop culture myth but the true heir is really videogames.)
