thing i love deeply about this whole scene is i feel like every tune i hear has at least one element in the arrangement i’ve never heard before either in source or processing
for a frustrated old modernist like me this is profoundly addictive

it’s also really something to have have a club music genre that is so wedded to negative space, often the complete absence of drums
this must sound titantic on a big sound system
