? you using the right tool? whenever i’ve had a problem that’s been the issue
if you point your stylus near the top of the screen the camera should move towards snorlax’s head. It can be a bit finicky.
oh! yeah for exeggutor you have to scroll up like that too. i sort of thought it was an exeggutor-specific goof - i’ve never pet a snorlax

It’s kind of incredible how Marowak changed its typing, kept a previous almost-entirely-useless ability (using the bone as a Lightning Rod was redundant with the ground typing), gained a slim few moves to reflect that new typing, and then shot up from the bottom of competitive tiers to standard tiers. A good chunk of overbearing new legendaries and old threats are vexed by their unique suite of resistances and immunities, making their old set-up of being slow and brutally strong actually work again.
All they needed to do was to huddle together in fear of a predatory world and develop enough grief to be able to directly invoke the vengeful flaming spirits of their dead mothers. Inspiring.

i try to only catch female PKMN if i can help it (as part of a personal tradition of exclusively forming all-lady parties in RPGs) but in my recent play of X i wanted to get a Sylveon by breeding Eevees and didn’t feel like save-scumming its egg hatching. So the most frilly, cute, ribbon-adorned member of my team was also the Token Boy. It was somehow only then that i had an important realization!!:

My equivalent of Ash’s Pikachu is a male milotic I’ve been transferring from game to game since I played gen 3 in 2005, so I feel that.
I like using him alongside the gyrados I raised up right in gen 4.
Nintendo needs to get their shit together so I can pokebank all my critters into Moon already. And I need to get a darn alolan vulpix from someone so it can be best buds with my Arcanine from gen 5.

a few years ago i was visiting family and noticed my youngest little brother had been playing my oldest little brother’s old GBC/copy of Red. i turned on the game out of curiosity to see what his pokemans were and he had just started the game w/ a Charmander that he named KILLER
He actually still had a save when i visited a few weeks ago and had some pretty choice names to show me though i forgot what most of them were. the only one i remembered was he’d named his Drowzee “President”

My popplio (now primarina’s) name is But Doctor, I Am Pagliacci. There’s not enough letters, so it’s just Pagliacci.
One of my tumblr mutuals referred to vikavolt as Vic Viper: The Pokemon, which is pretty great. Not remembering what it would evolve to, I just named my grubbin Pushpin. And she is perfect, fuck you.
