UPDATE: turns out there is a very poorly matched for the cable type DIY NEMA plug sitting in the bag with the (fucking gigantic) remote, so this thing has probably seen use in this country at least

remote has a dirty but largely uncorroded battery compartment which is sadly missing the cover, but if that’s the worst I see I will be doing very well for myself
