Looks like weāre in for some more neoliberal fantasy model UN type stuff (my least favorite storytelling mode this game likes to employ), but the lion lady seems like a fun character.

Based on how the other trailers have worked for previous expansions, I think the political contest is just the pretense for us to arrive and find ourselves involved in a new conflict with roots in Ancient history. They have at least one more zone with Amaurot/Ultima Thule-level climactic importance waiting in the wings. Pretty sure that when all is said and done, the events of Dawntrail are going to make it necessary for us to travel to another shard again, if not simply back to the thirteenth.

I was very haphazard about my cleanup/ prep regimen.
Iāve got all day Friday and all day Saturday to play, but since Julie is getting back from out of town that morning, Iām not going to be able to non-stop grind one of the new jobs the way Iād hoped to. Last week I saw that I had MCH at 86, so I maxed that out over the weekend. My preliminary plan is to main that for MSQ until it hits level cap, but I did prepare a complete Wondrous Tails to start working on Picto as time permits.
I cleaned out my journal as much as I could. Still havenāt finished a single variant dungeon; I went into Sildihn Subterrane with no prep or info and died around fifteen times before I decided to deal with that later. Tried to finish up the Sorrows of Werlyt, but it got a little bit too dark. The last unfinished quest chain I tackled was the rdps role quest, so now I can dye my job-specific glamour set.
Canāt wait to take care of a bunch of chores over the next 48 hours!!!

Iām excited as hell, and Iām only partway through Shadowbringers! I started working on the MSQ again yesterday and hoping to get a little more done tonight before they tear down the servers (unless they already have).

i generally soak msq exp on my drg, healers and tanks both get such priority on queues that it seems a waste otherwise
though idk maybe the numbers have shifted in the last few years
The queue times are never that bad on Faerie, plus 10 levels donāt hardly take no time at all

I still havenāt finished the last one or two post-Endwalker patches. I hope when I get to them after Dawntrailās launch, people will still be willing to queue for them dungeons!
people will always be queuing for dungeons because of roulettes and aether being the most populated datacenter in the game
