I tried to do the âChaos, Carnage, Eggsâ seasonal event which is telling me to complete the FATE âDonât Be Sylphishâ, which Iâve done twice, but at the end both times, it tells me Iâve left the FATE and thereâs no change in the status on the Quest. Like, what the fuck are you supposed to do to progress, then?
did you pick up eggs and then hand them into the person that was marked on your map?
I picked up eggs but there was nobody to give them to or I didnât see anybody because the area is flooded with people.
i dont know what the button is to make it so you click NPCS first and not other players, its X on ps4 gamepad
oh its also x on your keyboard, try that, theyâre in the fate area marked with a little loot sack on your map. the fate ends a minute after the bar fills up so make sure you wait out the last 60 seconds of the fate after the bar fills up and you hand in your eggs
Thanks. I abandoned it â apparently, you get nothing good from it so it wasnât even worth sidetracking away from what I was already doing.

they released school uniforms on the mogstation tonight so everyone can finally have an accurate sailor moon costume instead of using that weird top that has a huge weird undyable box on the ass for no reason

They are going to announce that they are removing the ability to dye this outfit in tonightâs liveletter.

I found out thereâs an EXP boost and you get 1 million gil for reaching level 30 on the new datacenters so I started over on Marilith (though I wish I had gone with Halicarnassus because thatâs fun to say). I got Bard a few hours ago, though I havenât really used any of its songs. I chose the Immoral Flames for my Grand Company because youâre already in Ulâdah for that event and they have the coolest salute and I assume it makes no difference what Grand Company you join. None of the GC company armor is particularly cool looking, anyway, except for:

I was dreading having to do the dungeons but doing them with NPCs + Quick Knock was pretty easy. Except for thr fight with Ifrit where if you donât kill the nail it KOs you. I died twice before I figured it out.
I just got a Chocobo but I guess the servers are going down soon for 24 hours so Iâm not going to get to use it. I wanted to get to 50 so I could become a Red Mage.
Can you change your characterâs voice with the Aesthetician? The attack grunt on the voice I chose is driving me crazy.
(ETA: I just want to say, the Immoral Flames or whatever are total chumps and prove themselves to be total chumps in like, the mission immediately before youâre required to join a Grand Company. If we werenât already in Ulâdah I wouldâve told them to kick rocks and joined the bad ass Sea Lady).

oh, can you do dungeons solo in ffxiv now by using npcs?
Yes, and many people love it but they are terrible and I hate them so much
Not really, but they each have a couple unique things to buy so when you get 14 diseased later on youâll end up switching and ranking up in all 3
