Slight shades of the Josh Wink collab Black Bomb (Jerry in the Bag).
That explains this
Remember when for a few years he was involved with, like, every minor-label act that used a synthesizer or sampler in any capacity?
Like, oh Reznor did vocals for this one too. Okay, then. And… he engineered this entire one using patches left over from The Downward Spiral. And this one… he also did something, but it’s unclear what.
These guys, he just signed to his label for some reason. For, like, six months.
Slight shades of 1000 Homo DJs as well in the sense of, oh, I guess that’s probably Trent under there somewhere.
i dig it. i haven’t heard a TOBACCO track in a long while; i found their earlier stuff kind of samey, but this is nice. like, i’d hear a few tracks and really like them, then get the album and it was just…every song sounded kind of the same.
i’d be down for Trent to do guest vocals on more acts, again
happy mud day, everyone
it’s friggin weird how often i hear tracks from ghsots i-iv turn up in random places

This is the outfit of the average NIN fan in 2020
hmm idk. it might just be a bias based on location and friend circle, but any NIN fan i meet is usually goth af
The Quake soundtrack albums are finally available after being listed as coming soon for like three years now: https://store.nin.com/products/quake-vinyl
what’s with all the vinyl does trent not believe in hidef digital anymore
physical media is a curious thing in 2020
i think if you’re going to put anything out physically, vinyl makes a lot of sense
reading that makes my head swim
VINYL MISSION STATEMENT
IN THESE TIMES OF NEARLY UNLIMITED ACCESS TO ALL THE MUSIC IN THE WORLD, WE’VE COME TO APPRECIATE THE VALUE AND BEAUTY OF THE PHYSICAL OBJECT. OUR STORE’S FOCUS IS ON PRESENTING THESE ITEMS TO YOU. VINYL HAS RETURNED TO BEING A PRIORITY FOR US - NOT JUST FOR THE WARMTH OF THE SOUND, BUT THE INTERACTION IT DEMANDS FROM THE LISTENER. THE CANVAS OF ARTWORK, THE WEIGHT OF THE RECORD, THE SMELL OF THE VINYL, THE DROPPING OF THE NEEDLE, THE DIFFICULTY OF SKIPPING TRACKS, THE CHANGING OF SIDES, THE SECRETS HIDDEN WITHIN, AND HAVING A PHYSICAL OBJECT THAT EXISTS IN THE REAL WORLD WITH YOU… ALL PART OF THE EXPERIENCE AND MAGIC.
DIGITAL FORMATS AND STREAMING ARE GREAT AND CERTAINLY CONVENIENT, BUT THE IDEAL WAY I’D HOPE A LISTENER EXPERIENCE MY MUSIC IS TO GRAB A GREAT SET OF HEADPHONES, SIT WITH THE VINYL, DROP THE NEEDLE, HOLD THE JACKET IN YOUR HANDS LOOKING AT THE ARTWORK (WITH YOUR FUCKING PHONE TURNED OFF) AND GO ON A JOURNEY WITH ME.
-TRENT REZNOR
The vinyl reissues of Broken, The Downward Spiral, The Fragile and [With_Teeth] all come with download options included. So do the recent EP trilogy and The Fragile: Deviations 1. I don’t know if right issues are affecting these two soundtrack prints along with the some of the others and it is unfortunate the options aren’t there for Hesitation Marks and Pretty Hate Machine.
Ghosts V and VI are digital only.
I expect when they do get vinyl prints, Year Zero and The Slip will also have downloads included.

DOUUUUUUUUBLE-LPs, SPREAD THE RECORD INTO TWO,
UNTIL THE END OF SIDE D, UNTIL THE LAST CUT OF LP 2.
-TRANT REZNOR
That certainly used to be the case with Hesitation Marks, as I strongly recall the adventures I had with a damaged LP and the digital tracks to tide me over. Maybe agreements with the publisher lapsed or something.
