there’s an ancient tog treatment called “dawn of quixote: origins”, basically a garbage late 00s streamlined and tutorialized to death AAA-type action game with extremely consequential moral choices - you choose between “dawn quixote” and “dusk quixote” transformations with every level up

I thought it was Good News that the one PixelJunk game I like is getting iterated on, but

‘kill all momentum and choose a new direction’ is an inverted understanding of the goals of the first game
