Hate to be THAT guy, but Pixel Games UK is the company of that douche that almost ruined someone’s career over fucking Horace
Woah what is this story.
I always forget there was a Horace Spectrum game before that horrendous Horace indie game.
They’re sellouts if that RoboCop game doesn’t have the RoboCop walking SFX through the entire game.
what could’ve been…
They made a Rambo one.
Now make a Roomba one
I feel this way about most fps games tbh
Remembering the robocop F2P mobile game that our company published that was F2P and tied to the remake. Whole company got to see the remake for free, which was a mostly forgettable movie
I read all the news backlogged last 21 days, this is the only one makes me feel something fresh…
Prerelease stunts getting wildly out of control
they finally announced that the forthcoming last(?) Hitman 3 level is gonna be free but that makes it seem like such a weird afterthought
Pirate game looks neat ish, despite being a Ubisoft product, and they’re contractually obligated to release it per an agreement with the government of Singapore. This is how we get new IP I guess.
This style of trailer is unnervering though. It’s like they’re selling a car and using very technical jargon like “Dynamic events” and “synergize playstyles” and I don’t know why. Part of me thinks its because every gamer just thinks in terms of buzzwords now and they’re trying to appeal to that. Maybe another part is games are so homogenized that they have to be described in such abstract terms in order for somewhat new mechanics to make sense.
Yeah it’s pretty amazing that this doesn’t fall in the same 3rd person open world action zone that basically every high budget game from a big studio is in these days? That means it will probably fail miserably and they’ll never experiment with anything ever again lol
addentum
idk, isn’t it pretty firmly ripping off sea of thieves or even no man’s sky, those are forever games at this point.
