the portrayal of the red army in the campaign of another game by the same developer is so fantastical and negative that when it came out russian players were incensed. it’s so poorly researched and biased they basically didn’t even fucking try. the Stalingrad level has a quote from Marshal Vasilevsky taken entirely out of context that makes it sound like it’s bad that the Soviets didn’t surrender to the Nazis and in general almost every single mission briefing has misinformation or weirdly aggressive commentary that consistently regurgitates Nazi propaganda about how the barbarians are at the gates of berlin
there are so many missions where you mow down your own guys and soviet officers are portrayed as bloodthirsty barbarians who kill people seemingly randomly because they team kill their fellow soldiers for saving each other’s lives, retreating, advancing, being Polish, basically doing anything. the whole thing is so biased towards “the Nazis were right to invade the Soviet Union” it’s almost cartoonishly insane, there is no other reason to include a level in your game where the Red Army lights Soviet civilians on fire to own the Wehrmacht. they claimed the game had a “balanced” perspective but there is not a single moment where they mention the ethnic cleansing the nazis did in Eastern Europe it’s all just made up shit where the Soviets are killing their own guys or victimizing poor innocent Germans
And if the game being ghostwritten by goebbels wasn’t bad enough half the mission design is plagiarized from men of war, a much better series where the Red Army and partisans and everyone who opposed the Nazis are correctly portrayed as right and justified for doing so lol

toms guide estimates SD Express is “up to 25 cents per GB”. they compared this to “traditional SSDs” at 5-6 cents per GB

Switch carts aren’t any kind of SD standard, they’re a card made for storing video for pachislot machines (which makes sense, good read, instant seek, no wear and tear)
the numbers some people have claimed for SW2 carts are ~15-16 bucks (which come only in 64GB size) and the key card is roughly half that
some of this is backed up by MKW being 10 Euros and 1000y cheaper digitally than physically
for the sake of comparison, a bluray disc is a few bucks
anyway are we also mad about the recent MS physical releases like Indy and Doom TDA where the disc is just a plastic dongle you shove in your console as proof you own it
is everyone getting a Switch 2 buying CP2077 and Rune Factory 2: You Can Commit Extra-dimensional Adultery to show publishers they want games on physical media

I don’t imagine myself buying multiplatform games on Switch 2, but I fully intend to buy Nintendo’s games and non-key card exclusives physically because I have no reason to trust their digital infrastructure
but that is conditional on me getting a Switch 2 which is not in the cards until next year at least (I am trying to get a job in Japan so I have made it my reward if I succeed)
