theyāre in a really good position right now where itās like free money for them to make okay enough elder scrolls games since bethesda canāt ship anything worth a damn anymore, even though outer worlds was not objectively that exciting (especially given the unfortunate release timing comparison to outer wilds), people want these games and obsidian is finally the only credible game in town

Technically New Colossus was Wolfenstein 3, being a sequel to New Order which was itself a sequel to the non-MachineGames Wolfenstein (2009).
it says II on the box tho

wolfenstein 2009 was a sequel to return to castle wolfenstein which was a remake of wolfenstein 3d which was a remake of castle wolfenstein which also had the sequel beyond castle wolfenstein

well know once they put out something official, but iirc the indy game takes place in the wolfenstein timeline where the hero is triumphant and specifically is in the āchild eraā
