this looks good, I guess, but the whole vibe is suspiciously off-brand in a way I canât put my finger on. the wildlife looks better than snake. snake doesnât look like snake. itâs weird.

I think this was announced earlier this year actually. It had a teaser trailer at Evo IIRC.

I think it was actually announced last year at evo, they just didnât really have anything to say about it. also they are stupid and decided that instead of putting their attempt at preservation on PC, theyâd be better off putting it on dead consoles.

Companies want to be able to sell you things over and over, which is sort of the opposite of preservation. But anyway, putting it on PS4 presumably makes it Sony backwards-compatible. At least for one additional gen, who knows after that I guess.
I definitely donât agree with KOF XIII being the âpinnacle of sprite-based fightingâ or whatever they call it toward the end of that trailer. ^ _^ First of all, itâs rotoscoped. : P Second of all, the sprites are way SMALLER than they were meant to be. Third of all, they look weird and pretty much entirely lack the charm of the hand-drawn ones. Fourth of all, they made them harder to see with various oddly dark and blurry FX.
But bring back XII. ; D

Hey, this upcoming adventure game where you play as a ghost haunting some things sure has a neat I guess monochromatic (yet in color) aesthetic going on. They released a demo of it for the Steam Halloween sale/festival thing.

I guess I missed the QTE sequence and canât figure out how to revisit it, but holy shit that was miserable. And ends with âTUNE IN TOMORROWâŚâ.

the game far cry 2 is a spiritual successor to is getting re-released on steam next month and it makes me very happy because i love boiling point!!
