i can’t believe im the only one on here who loved Neon White. i feel like it scratched the “restarting 3D Sonic levels over and over again” itch in my weird brain with a little bit of visual novel cheese on top

I loved it but the parts I found truly transcendent are def in the later half of the game. However in order to truly enjoy some of the final levels, you have to build to them over the length of the game… and also not be a speedrunner. Watching the speedrun versions of the giant Book of Life gauntlet level made me depressed but restarting that level 50+ times to play it like a normie, skipping nothing, was some of the most fun shit I have ever done in an FPS

The Last Ronin was sort of the Dark Knight Returns of the TMNT books. It was a good story. Supposedly this is going to be a character action game like God of War 2018. I’m sold.

Hilarious that they decided to use binary armor saves years after the tabletop game ditched them. That’s honestly my favorite bad rule in 40k, but it…doesn’t work the same in an FPS.

I thought they were back in 8th ed. in 2017. that’s when binary AP saves were removed, which is what the Boltgun damage system seems closest to: negligible chip damage unless you can beat their armour
feels way better than randomly missing 66% of your shots, seems pointless when we’re all familiar with damage affinities & resistances now
