Oooh these are early works of Kenichi Nishi. I don’t suspect there’s anything groundbreaking about them but I look forward to playing them regardless. I’m loving the Renaissance of PC Engine translations.
this is cool only because I’ve read elsewhere that the English versions were getting canceled after the Cosmic Fantasy collections underperformed
anyway give Lord Eida all your money to play games like Valis and Valis (MSX) and Valis (Famicom)
I’d been meaning to pick up the PCE version of 2 for years since it was discovered it has a secret shmup in it
I’m sort of cautiously optimistic with these releases because apparently Edia botched the Cosmic Fantasy releases by having the battle text appear the wrong way around, eg when you attack it will say the enemy is attacking etc. Also the eShop description is giving off very LLM generated vibes so I wouldn’t be surprised if that carries over into the actual translation.
Lol I didn’t know about that. Looking it up I suspect it won’t be included in the Switch version since it’s accessed through some warning screen from using the wrong system card or something
yeah, the actual game requires the super system card, the shooting game is accessed by using the original system card. same as the secret game on rondo of blood’s disc
also Edia related:
20 bucks, which as you might note, is less than 7500y
This Earnest Evans news popped up when I sat down to use a computer at the library and I sincerely thought I was being gang stalked for like a full minute after that
If this winds up being Kirkland Signature Fable this is going to be completely perfect.
I’m a little bit agree with this, the article is exaggerating and try so hard make a connection of drop in literacy or something.
I read again, and they assuming all English user as Americans are even more crazier.
looks like the studio i worked at (sanzaru) got closed with twisted pixel and armature by meta: Meta layoffs mean big cuts in VR gaming, as 3 studios close
kinda mixed feelings about this that mirror the same as anyone else’s - i liked (some) of the people i worked with, but oh my god i cannot believe how correct my instincts were about this
Meta’s Reality Labs has incurred losses of more than $70 billion since 2020, and appears to now be in the business of cutting its losses.
The sentence has an unknown magic in it. I read it serval times, it feels like something wtf was talked in a very common tone.
for sure, I just think its intersting that kids write entire emails in subject lines, something we used to make fun of boomers for 15 years ago. I assumed that everyone knows polygon sucks at making a point by now
Brazzers Gaming
I strongly disagree that there’s anything normal at all about using the subject line and not touching the email body.
I send and receive dozens of emails daily with people in lots of countries and no one does that.
It’s something I would occasionally see in emails at my last job, but they’d put essays in the subject line. They had no knowledge, nor probably any interest, in email etiquette. But then, who’s going to make them?
One of my recently retired bosses (an 80 year old woman) would often send short email messages entirely in the subject line.
disagree with who?
