they made a post about how it wasnt their decision at all and their publishers went over their head and then immediately deleted so its all very weird. they had plenty of real reasons to dislike them but this one is inexcusable finally. no one can call me a hater anymore

Bakersfield is Necropolis in Fallout, so yeah it is actually an iconic location for the series

It’s because it’s the guy who did a lot of the art for Sonora and Olympus 2207. He is also doing the new blood not-fallout crpg as well. Alexander “Red888guns” Berezin. Nobody else can recreate the original fallout style as well as him.

the trailer is missing iconic Bakersfield locations that would really give a more profound sense of place. I want to shoot zombies in Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace. Gaze at the arid central valley landscape from atop the majestic Padre hotel. That sort of thing.
