again, it seemed like a photo op and transparent attempt to cash in on the whole 2020 wave to me from the beginning so it’s 0% surprising. i just feel bad for any of the people involved who were fed a lot of bullshit and convinced that it could/would be something else.

Video games always feel both familiar and unfamiliar to me. The development story of GTA series may have been built on lies from the very beginning.

Good of them to wait to announce this until just after I acquired an Index, lol. It looks pretty cool though. Using built in eye tracking to figure out where the fovea of your eye is pointed and only render that in high definition, that’s a very clever way to reduce overhead when streaming from the PC to the headset.
