I think the thing throwing me off about the EA acquisition (other than EA showing not outward signs that they are in Ubi-styled financial trouble) is
how does a company in 2025 look at the trail of corpses left by private equity firms and go âwell, it didnât work out for all those guysâŚ. but it might just work for us!â

look at the leads of all the big companies that sold out over the years, ride out whatever is on their contract then go use their name to start a new studio.

anyway, how the fuck does a company that gets free money from fifa, madden, and 2 sims expansion packs a year fuck up badly enough that âsaudi PE leveraged buyoutâ is even on the table. at least the management will be heavily punished, since financial capitalism is a very just and fair system
