Pretty surprised this keeps trucking along. How many games does it take to become a Franchise, do you think? 3 seems like a reasonable threshold

This is the fourth! The Styx games spun off from Of Orcs and Men.

Fantasy kane and lynch, if thatâs the push someone needed to play it

Hilariously the PS5 pro has worse performance than the regular PS5. If I had been looking forward to this I would have been disappointed.

they finally done it
though I find myself wondering if this is why they arenât allowed to sell the version of harpoon thatâs been getting updates every year since 1989 anymore, because the dumbass microprose guy has the rights to sell this completely unpatched 1996 version of the game again

definitely yes.
I only regret not having bought Harpoon V on WargameVault during my highest desire to consume around 2021. Now I donât want to pay $100 for a game that I would not play.

lol yup itâs absolutely the microprose deal that sank 35 years of development and sent us back to fuckin 1997. i really donât have confidence that they are going to re-release the latest version of harpoon from 2023, and matrix withheld at least one patch because they knew they were going to lose the rights to publish harpoon, so this whole thing just fucking sucks

it will happen all the time after we give our permission and thatâs the mainly reason why I burn all my digital DRM-free games, patches and add-ons on disc (if they donât, I burn the piracy). Physical is everything.
Have to said huge thanks to Spotify/Apple Music/Nintendo/Youtube Ads/Netflix/Kindle/OpenAI and they had changed my lifestyle back to 80s and I never mad on this shit after that.

I remember Matrix Games is one of the publisher which offers the Physical edition, also you could always check Noble Knight. Do their games have DRM online check? I read the website, it only mentions the SN offline check.

you need access to the installers, which arenât floating around the internet as easily as you would hope, and a serial key. or a way of making one. Matrix is literally telling people to go on ebay and buy old copies of harpoon commanderâs edition lol. Iâve figured out this situation for myself but it is still unfortunate.

Luckily Harpoon is always a pen-n-paper friendly game series.

EGG Console titles (for Switch/2) Brandish Renewal and Fray have been taken down because it seems like they accidentally included MS-DOS as the way the games are loaded lol
theyâre still up on the US eShop, though, and about $7.50 each if you want to grab them before they get taken down indefinitely

bunch of games getting delayed to work around Silksong, I hate this world dawg

Someone tell Davey Wreden to delay Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe even though itâs been out for 3 years. Itâd be fitting

Yeah I grabbed Brandish because of who I am as a person. Theyâll be back eventually, as people have pointed out there are some well known workarounds.
