I would settle for the right kind of bad, as well
The last one was.
All of the AAA shooters look real good this go around.
My favorite parts of this trailer are the shots where you can tell they’re on a holodeck because of the hexagonal ceiling tiles breaking apart. Froth froth froth.
I mean like these games are the fever dreams of a child with a billion dollars.
OK so there’s a “trailer” for the Berserk Musou that I’m not going to link because it’s just pornography, but could someone familiar with the franchise check it to make a guess as to how far out in the Berserk timeline this is going to cover? This is (not) important.
A new Quake
A new test of my resistance to nostalgia
so I guess doom is their single player focused franchise and quake is their “arena shooter multiplayer” thing now?
i’m cool with that
Digging that Titanfall 2 trailer a lot more than I was expecting. Glad they’re doubling down on the mechs.
Why is the demo for DOOM only available temporarily? I mean this quote drips with cynicism.
id Software built its mighty legacy on sharing, offering free demos of the original DOOM over two decades ago. In that same spirit, today’s DOOM will also offer a free demo of the full first level of game. This demo will available for a limited time only – during the week of E3. If you haven’t yet experienced the powerful guns, vicious demons and intense speed that’s made DOOM such a critical hit, now’s the perfect time.
Anyway, aside from the Dishonoured sequel, Arkane are also developing a new Prey title.
Fuck E3 the real news is today I found out there is a PS4 Daisenryaku game coming out.

this seems so bizarre to me. the trailer looks interesting but it’s baffling to me that anyone is interested in the prey license in 2016. does it even have anything to do with the last one? what even defines this franchise?
It’s not really clear what defines it, the original Prey is one of those games that went through so many iterations and so many people’s hands (including 3D Realms, where at one point its engine would have been shared with Duke Nukem Forever) that I’m kind of shocked it got released at all. Superficially at least, this is probably going to share a lot more in common with the first Prey than whatever was going to happen in the cancelled Prey 2.
When it comes down to it though, the Prey name was probably the only way Arkane could have pitched making a cool sci fi game, in which case, who gives a shit what its called (I know people who are convinced that an unreleased Bobba Fett simulator that was going to be the best game ever because they never had a chance to be disappointed by it before it was supposedly canned out of spite may care, but maybe the should pick up a copy of Judge Dredd SNES, idk).
Portals? At least I remember that being the technical things that was going to be a Big Deal back when the original 3D Realms version was in development, and I think that was still something of a thing the final game that was made still had going on.
But then Portal came out, so I guess Native Americans? Turok’s the only competition there I think.
Well that was some serious bad taste, gg Koei
Looks like short haired Caska, so this can only really be the infamous eclipse scene at the end of flashback, I wouldn’t think much out of it other than ehi looks it’s Berserk
Oh, it’s literally pornography. That’s cool.
Whoa what the WHAT?
re: Prey: For me the series is “Native American guy shoots things while interacting with spirit world in modern setting,” but they’re changing the whole thing again, so whatever I guess. Just glad we’re not going to be journeying through a space meatball’s guts the entire time.
I remember Prey 2 looked like a radically different, radically more interesting game than Prey 1. Hopefully this one is as ambitious.
