I canât imagine anyone was chomping at the bit for a remaster of that game
Please remember that you canât critique anything South Park because itâs âââââsatireâââââ
Can South Park just end
Itâs been on since Iâve been in fuckinâ middle school
Quoting this as the giant flashing sign nothing South Park or itâs creators do should get a pass. That this wasnât the moment of public outrage and boycott is a failure of shared humanity.
LA Noire is âgoodâ in the way trashy middle-brow prestige-tv is âgoodâ. Itâs a fun pass-the-controller experience with a partner (whether they normally do games or not).
The easy solution is just make people madatory play on easy if the pick white, and let every other skin tone pick the level of difficulty. This makes the same commentary and avoids penalizing people who want to play as non-white characters.
I wonder if theyâll have the option to skip action scenes as a toggle for the rerelease. That would make it the TV game with the highest production values by far.
Yeah if they just molded it into more of a Telltale Games style thing itâd probably be better
Completely both!
(Enough of the latter that, I think, I read your post in a weird way and maybe responded inappropriately.)
I swear the wider gamescrit universe gets all its ideas from sb
It isnât really that fun to play but I love LA Noire as a accidental comedy, for its tonal weirdness and ability to reference Kropotkin. Maybe my memory of it isnât so good but it does a good job of committing to its premises with a little humour instead of defaulting to more stereotypical gaminess. It kind of makes sense that this funny, funny game was directed by an abusive and wretched OCD demon. Flaws and all, this thing was aggressively engineered, nothing about it seems borne of laziness.
Best consumed watching somebody else play it, though frsure.
I once contaminated a crime scene because I accidentally ran over the victimâs body when driving there
just like irl
la noire would of been good if the homicide and arson desks were stand alone cases instead of sitting around wasting time on nonsense while you wait for the game to let you do something about the Puppet Master sneaking around improbably planting evidence that you could see the game setting up a mile away
but then it is a Noire movie (and everyone that doesnât play it in b&w takes some fun out of it) and it is, as mentioned itt, a comedy-flick also, so, thatâs what i expect!
like when you re supposed to go hunting for a red? blue? or green? car. They resolved this in a pretty good mannerâŚ
I was tentatively interested in the new Metroid but somehow watching this video just made me think maybe the franchise canât really offer much novelty anymore
I just donât really get why they had to go for that bright, primary colours vaseline on the lens look
