Deadpool is way too self-consciously snarky to be camp, itās kind of the tonal opposite in fact. I really donāt like those movies

All this talk about In the Mouth of Madness is making me think I should give it another chance. I didnāt care much for it when I saw it many years ago, despite so many things about it being in principle right up my alley. Prince of Darkness, on the other hand, I did like (but I should probably revisit that one too as I only remember scattered moments from it now).

Death Becomes Her is a smidge in on the joke but Iād recommend it to someone who liked the silly parts of Venom

Totally with you, Mouth of Madness has really good parts but itās never quite congealed for me, Prince of Darkness is one of the legit most haunting films Iāve ever seen considering itās sort of a zombie movie, and watching The Stuff is always a hoot.

Somehow none of us have said The Chronicles of Riddick yet, have we? Vin Diesel killing everyone in a bunch of sets that look like 2000s music videos and also dame judy dench is there being something called an āelementalā.
The bad guys are called necromongers and they have to break into and out of the prison planet Crematoria
Oh, Jupiter Ascending has excellent scenery-chewing like that too

jupiter ascending is unwatchable, cuba is out of his mind, itās edited into an incoherent sequence of setpieces, itās like they decided to take all the criticism of cloud atlas and make a movie out of just the criticism
