fascinated by this movie which was a stop motion animator’s lifelong passion project, was filmed in 1994, and only had it’s stop motion elements and compositing completed by crowdfunding at extremely low pay by friends of the (now passed) director in the last few years

Looks bonkers in it’s own way. but not gay enough. I love the original but I will give this a chance.

“From the director of The Bourne Identity” didn’t have the effect on me I think the marketers wanted it to have

i think the casting of big jake as Dalton is fine and i don’t like that it’s in Florida instead of a dusty lot in Missouri but on the other hand i like his houseboat

Thumbnail is bad but this looks fun. I miss mid budget comedies.

“what if a guy was weird and wouldn’t leave you alone” is such a classic premise, glad to see it make a comeback

Actually Cena already kind of did this with Vacation Friends right

Oh it’s Peter Farrelly that makes sense

This is also one of those Hollywood blacklist things that has been an unproduced screenplay since like 2010… Makes sense because I could have sworn I had heard about movie with this title and premise years ago. At this point it’s like a remake of a classic comedy that never actually existed

Seems pretty clear now that if the 90’s were the Die Hard years, the 00’s were the Matrix years, and the 10’s where the DTV years, the 20’s are officially the John Wick years

Mmm love me some reheated 40 year old jokes. Yum yum yum lemme at that “humor content.”

The worst monkey paw curling result of my wishing Annie Potts and Ernie Hudson had more to do in the originals.

FROZEN EMPIRE fuckin lol you said it mister

the only upside to this is that, because some kind of frost-demon terrorizing new york is not the hackiest possible premise for this movie, one can only assume it is based on something that dan aykroyd 100% believes to be actually true

god i hope the frost demon symbolizes wokeness, or bureaucracy, or something

Reacher gets one step closer to the BJ Blazkowicz he was born to play…

Other than that though I have to say that the idea of Guy Ritchie’s Inglourious Basterds is not very appealing
