MOUTH MOODS

i think the only one im not wild about it “Stand By Meme”, i appreciate the joke of jumping right back into another “(It’s Been) One Week (Since You Looked At Me)” mashup but it doesn’t mesh as well and “Smooth” has a lot more going on for it

I got up to the Sponge Bob theme coming in around the 3 minute mark, and I still can’t do it. Too meme-y for me. Gonna throw on my CD copy of Secret Diary and reminisce about 2010.

Two hours after listening to it I realized the metajoke of the title

wish there were some more straight replayable earworm jams but this is a lot of fun. the fredhammer/limp wicket combo is so powerful although i kind of wish they were reversed in album order

the babyback ribs / beautiful people thing is pretty amazing though. a secret waiting decades to reveal itself

I might listen to this a few more times as I work but these are things I am deeply impressed with but don’t return to often. Jack White singing over the old-timey “Powerhouse” though is a whole genre I need now and Spice Girls ft. Wario is the collaboration 2020 deserves. I think it would probably be a bad idea to get very high and listen to this all the way through… but how can I know until I try?
